Welcome to BioScript. We build independent self-hosted link-in-bio SaaS infrastructure. This Privacy Policy outlines how Jyotirmay Ray ("we", "our", or "us") manages information associated with your purchase of our software licenses, support portals, and automated updates servers.
Self-Hosted Paradigm: It is critical to note that BioScript is a self-hosted platform. When you buy our software, you host the database, administrative files, and creator profiles on your own server nodes. We do not have direct access to, database query rights over, or hosting control of your end-users' link profiles, bio content, page builders, or payment integration endpoints. You, as the administrator, are the Data Controller for your customer profile databases, and must maintain your own customer-facing privacy policy.
We only collect data necessary to validate reseller activations, prevent Reseller software piracy, distribute updates, and provide Reseller installation support services.
A. Personal Information
During purchase or support portal registration, we collect your name, business name, and email address. This details your account identity as the registered licensee.
B. Payment Information
All software purchase transactions are processed through Lemon Squeezy or PayPal. We never view, collect, or store your credit card details on our servers. The payment gateways provide us with anonymized metadata (such as transaction IDs, receipt emails, and license purchase dates) to verify checkouts.
C. License Information
To register your software nodes and prevent unauthorized distributions, we track licensing metadata, including: your unique Reseller license key, activation timestamps, hardware identifiers (UUIDs), and server IP addresses linked to your installation server host.
D. Device & Server Information
When your self-hosted administration server polls our updates node, our server logs record incoming HTTP request metadata, including IP addresses, hosting provider headers, and PHP environment configurations.
We use essential cookies on our sales website (bioscript.in) to persist your active checkout session, store language/currency preferences, and track coupon code states. These cookies contain no personally identifiable profile data.
We also utilize tracking cookies to analyze organic visitor traffic trends and optimize promotional campaign performances on our marketing sales funnel pages.
We process your information based on legal operational interests, support execution contracts, and Reseller support obligations:
- License Activation & Validation: Validating installation signatures to ensure your code nodes remain active under your resale tier.
- Customer Technical Support: Verifying license keys to debug server installer tasks and guide software database setups.
- Product Updates: Pushing patch upgrades, dashboard feature templates, and builder modules directly to your server.
- Marketing &reseller Emails: Providing guides on launching your SaaS, plus community announcements. You may opt-out anytime.
- Fraud Prevention: Detecting fraudulent activations, chargebacks, and reselling license key terms violations.
- Legal Compliance: Meeting bookkeeping, accounting, tax registry, and government regulatory laws.
We share limited validation data with trusted external cloud providers to maintain payment, updates distribution, and customer support infrastructure:
- Google Analytics: Tracking user interaction metrics to identify sales page layout performance.
- Payment Processors: Lemon Squeezy and PayPal handle all billing details securely.
- Email Providers: Platforms like Postmark or Mailgun send product download details, license invoices, and community newsletters.
- Hosting Providers: Our update nodes and registration checks are hosted on secure AWS or DigitalOcean virtual clouds.
We implement professional security measures to shield your license purchase data from deletion, loss, access, or modification:
- All incoming data is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS).
- License servers are locked behind strict IP white-lists, SSH keys, and firewall monitors.
- Hardware lock validation databases utilize secure hashing algorithms to store registration tokens.
We store your account and software purchase data for as long as your license remains active or as required by law. If you request a license transfer or cancellation, personal data is scrubbed from active systems within 30 business days, excluding records required for accounting audits or tax compliance history.
Depending on your location (e.g. EU or California), you hold rights under GDPR or CCPA to manage your stored records:

Our software licensing services are directed to business owners, developers, and Reseller admins. The platforms are not intended for children under 13. We do not intentionally compile or hold profile records from minor users. If we discover records matching minor users, they will be deleted instantly.
Our license update nodes and verification cloud databases are hosted globally (including in the United States and the European Union). By licensing and running our software, you agree to secure data transfers across borders. All transfers comply with secure Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure equivalent data handling safeties.
We review and update this policy dynamically as BioScript adds features. If we write meaningful changes, we will post the update date here and send announcements to all registered resellers on our updates mailing list.
