This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the behaviors and activities that are strictly prohibited when using the BioScript software, our license servers, or our support portals. This policy applies to all Licensees (you) and, by extension, the End Users you host on your self-hosted instances.
While we do not host your content, using our software to operate a platform dedicated to facilitating any of the prohibited activities below is a direct violation of your license agreement.
You may not use BioScript, nor allow your End Users to use your BioScript instance, to host, promote, or distribute any of the following:
- Illegal Content: Any material that violates local, state, national, or international laws.
- Adult Content: Pornography, sexually explicit material, or services facilitating prostitution and escort services.
- Violence & Hate Speech: Content that incites violence, promotes self-harm, or advocates discrimination, harassment, or hatred against protected groups based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.
- Copyright Violations: Distributing, sharing, or selling copyrighted media (movies, music, software) without explicit authorization from the copyright holder.
- Trademark Abuse: Impersonating other brands, using trademarked logos without permission, or engaging in cybersquatting.
- Malware: Distributing viruses, trojans, worms, or any malicious code designed to harm devices or networks.
BioScript must not be used as infrastructure to deceive or defraud individuals. Prohibited behaviors include:
- Phishing: Creating fake login pages, credential harvesters, or deceptive links meant to steal passwords or private information.
- Scams & Fake Businesses: Operating Ponzi schemes, get-rich-quick scams, fake investment portals, or selling non-existent goods.
- Spam: Using BioScript links in unsolicited mass email campaigns (spam), SMS spam operations, or aggressive forum/social media botting.
- Money Laundering: Using the integrated payment gateways to facilitate illegal financial transactions or money laundering operations.
To protect our infrastructure and the integrity of the BioScript product, the following technical abuses are strictly forbidden:
- License Abuse: Sharing your license key publicly, reselling the source code, distributing "nulled" versions, or attempting to bypass the remote license validation server.
- Reverse Engineering: Decompiling or reverse engineering our remote validation APIs, update delivery network, or DRM mechanisms.
- Automated Attacks: Using automated scripts, botnets, or DDoS tools to attack our main website, documentation portal, or licensing nodes.
- Server Abuse: Deliberately misconfiguring your self-hosted instance to spam our update nodes with excessive, unauthorized API requests.
We actively monitor our license network for signs of abuse. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that your instance is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, we will take decisive action.
1. License Suspension: We may temporarily suspend your license key, preventing your server from authenticating or receiving updates until the violation is investigated.
2. Immediate Termination: Severe violations (such as phishing, malware distribution, or piracy) will result in immediate, permanent revocation of your license with no refund.
3. Legal Action: We reserve the right to report illegal activities, fraud, or severe AUP violations to relevant law enforcement agencies or hosting providers.
We rely on our community and the public to help keep the internet safe. If you encounter a BioScript instance (identified by the platform footprint) hosting malicious content, phishing, or violating this policy, please report it immediately.
To report abuse: Please send the offending URL and a brief description of the violation to our security team.

We investigate all reports promptly and take necessary action at the license level.
