By purchasing BioScript, Jyotirmay Ray ("Licensor") grants you ("Licensee") a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and lifetime license to use the Software to operate your own SaaS business.
Lifetime License
You pay once for the version you purchase. You own the right to run that code indefinitely on your server, without ongoing royalty fees to us.
White Label Rights
You have full permission to completely rebrand the software. Remove the BioScript name, add your own logo, and host it on your custom domain.
Unlimited Client Usage
You may host an unlimited number of clients, creators, and user accounts on your single installed instance, keeping 100% of the revenue they generate.
Reseller Rights
If you purchased an Agency or Reseller tier, you may run multiple distinct SaaS instances or offer managed setups to third parties (subject to the specific tier's limits).
This EULA grants a license to use the software; it does not transfer ownership of the software.
Source Code Ownership
The original unencrypted source code, database structures, core algorithms, and default design assets remain the exclusive intellectual property of Jyotirmay Ray. You may not claim authorship or ownership of the base software framework.
Copyright & Trademark
The name "BioScript", the BioScript logo, and all marketing material on our official site are copyrighted trademarks. Trademark Restrictions: You may not use the "BioScript" name in your own public-facing SaaS branding, as this implies official affiliation and dilutes our brand. Your white-label instance must operate under your own unique brand name.
We provide full access to the unencrypted source code so you can adapt the software. However, this freedom comes with strict rules.
Customization Rights
You may modify the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend code. You may add new features, translate the interface, and integrate third-party APIs as needed for your business operations.
Strict Redistribution & Reselling Rules:
You may NOT resell the BioScript source code itself.
You may NOT sell "clones" or "scripts" based on our codebase.
You may NOT distribute the source files on forums, GitHub, or torrents.
Permitted Use: You may only sell "Software as a Service" (SaaS) subscriptions or access to your hosted instance.
Illegal Usage
You may not modify the software to operate illegal marketplaces, phishing systems, malware distribution centers, or networks that violate standard international laws. We hold no liability for the content your users generate.
BioScript is a self-hosted product. This means you are fully in charge of the infrastructure it runs on.
- Hosting: You must procure and maintain your own server environments (VPS, Cloud, or Shared). We do not host your application or your database.
- Security Responsibility: You are responsible for securing your server, installing SSL certificates, applying OS security patches, and backing up your database. We are not liable for data breaches occurring on your infrastructure.
Your license entitles you to software updates and technical support, governed by the following parameters:
- Updates: You will receive free updates (bug fixes and new features) for the lifetime of the major version you purchased. Updates are distributed remotely via our license server.
- Support: You receive 6 months of technical support and installation guidance. Support covers core software bugs. It does not cover modifications you have made to the source code, custom feature requests, or server administration tutorials.
This EULA remains effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms.
License Revocation
We utilize a remote license verification system. If we detect Copyright Violations (e.g., you are distributing our source code publicly) or payment fraud (e.g., you issue an illegitimate chargeback), we reserve the right to instantly revoke your license key. Revocation will prevent your server from receiving updates and may lock the administrative dashboard of the software.
Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and permanently delete all copies of the source code from your servers and local storage.
No Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
Liability Limitation
IN NO EVENT SHALL JYOTIRMAY RAY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE. Our total liability shall under no circumstances exceed the original purchase price of your license.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Licensor from any claims, lawsuits, or damages brought against you by your End Users or third parties due to your operation of the Software or your failure to secure your hosting environment.
This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal actions related to this EULA or the Software shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Kolkata, India.
