01 PROJECT OVERVIEW

Natural Video Delivery Without Hardware Pedals

TeleScript AI was engineered to solve the persistent frustration faced by content creators, educators, and executive speakers: traditional teleprompter software moves at an arbitrary fixed speed, forcing speakers into a mechanical cadence or requiring expensive physical remote controls. TeleScript AI runs directly in any modern browser, listening to the speaker's natural acoustic vocal patterns via the Web Speech API and dynamically synchronizing the script viewport position to keep spoken words anchored in the optimal eye-line zone.

02 THE PROBLEM

Fixed-Velocity Teleprompters Ruin Natural Delivery

When speakers pause for emphasis or speed up during passionate explanations, conventional timer-based tools cause disarray.

BOTTLENECK 01

Mechanical scrolling causes speakers to rush through sentences or fall behind, leading to frequent retakes and wasted studio hours.

BOTTLENECK 02

Proprietary teleprompter apps require expensive iOS/Android subscriptions or dedicated hardware wireless remotes.

BOTTLENECK 03

Cloud speech transcription services transmit private corporate scripts and video audio to third-party cloud servers with high latency.

03 MY ROLE & TECHNICAL APPROACH

Client-Side Acoustic Sync Architecture

I architected TeleScript AI to be 100% self-contained in the browser. Using the Web Speech API and Web Audio analyzer, the application streams speech tokens client-side, calculates word-match positions against the loaded script, and triggers smooth DOM scroll transitions via a PID-based velocity easing algorithm.

01 Speech Ingestion

Continuous zero-latency speech recognition streaming spoken words directly from user microphone.

02 Cadence Engine

Fuzzy string matching algorithm tolerating slight improvisations, word repetitions, and speech pauses.

03 Eye-Line Viewport

Center-anchored reading horizon with customizable contrast modes and mirror inversion for optical beam splitters.

04 Local Cache

IndexedDB and LocalStorage persistence ensuring scripts remain completely offline and private.

04 ARCHITECTURE & KEY DECISIONS

Engineering Decisions & Trade-offs

Decision 1: Native Web Speech API vs. External Whisper API

While OpenAI Whisper delivers high accuracy, network roundtrips introduce 500ms–2000ms latency—far too slow for a real-time eye-line teleprompter. Native Web Speech API delivers sub-50ms matching latency with zero per-minute transcription costs.

Decision 2: 100% Client-Side Privacy

Scripts and speech audio never leave the user's browser. Content creators and executive communicators can draft sensitive announcements and earnings briefings with absolute confidentiality.
