SiteQA.dev — Website Quality Assurance Engine
Automated Website Health, Response Verification & Security Header Auditing Tool
Auditing Web Infrastructure with Speed and Precision
SiteQA.dev was engineered as a streamlined, developer-first diagnostic utility designed to audit web applications, WordPress platforms, and enterprise endpoints. Traditional auditing suites (such as enterprise crawler applications) often require heavy installations, introduce minutes of latency, or produce thousands of noisy, unprioritized warnings. SiteQA.dev focuses on the vital signs of web health: HTTP status codes, redirect depth, SSL certificate handshakes, crucial security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options), and payload weight, delivering actionable diagnostic summaries in seconds.
Silent Regressions in Production Deployments
Production websites degrade silently over time as plugins are added, CDN routing rules are tweaked, and server configurations evolve.
Hidden 301/302 redirect loops and mixed-content assets that slow down page loads and penalize organic search ranking.
Missing HSTS, Content-Security-Policy, and X-Content-Type-Options headers leaving sites vulnerable to clickjacking and injection attacks.
Uncompressed server assets (lack of Brotli/Gzip) and slow server response times (TTFB) degrading the end-user shopping experience.
Architecture of an Edge-Based Auditor
As the sole architect and developer, I designed the diagnostic pipeline around modern distributed edge workers. Instead of executing resource-intensive browser emulators, SiteQA.dev dispatches lightweight asynchronous requests directly from edge nodes to sample target servers across multiple network vectors.
Dispatches HEAD and GET probes from Cloudflare edge locations to measure true network latency and TTFB.
Evaluates response headers against OWASP security recommendations and flags missing protection directives.
Validates TLS protocol versions, expiration dates, and follows redirect chains up to 5 hops.
Aggregates observations into a clean, prioritized health report ready for agency client presentations.
Engineering Decisions & Trade-offs
Instead of spinning up Puppeteer or Playwright instances—which require hundreds of megabytes of RAM and take 15–30 seconds per audit—SiteQA.dev leverages lightweight Fetch APIs on Edge runtimes. This yields sub-3-second results with zero server infrastructure overhead.
Audits are executed in-memory on demand without persisting client domain queries or sensitive server topology into a database. This ensures complete confidentiality for enterprise and agency technical assessments.
